Smart Barge may well be a world’s first mobile tidal energy, harvesting, storage & delivery system. Environmentally friendly design, capable of evading storms and other extreme weather events. Cost-effective, modular, scalable and completely independent.
Renewable energy can lack predictability. No wind/waves = no energy. Tides are different. Tides happen at the same time each day regardless of weather conditions, which can be harvested, stored and delivered from thousands of locations around the world.
We will produce SB Test Rig 1 with James Brown of Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm/ Kimberley Marine Research Station. The tidal ranges of the Kimberley region are capable of producing 300GW of power - 5x Australia’s current total installed power capacity.
