Today's the day, the FINAL DAY of our CSF round! If you’ve been thinking about investing but haven’t jumped in yet - now’s the time! Don’t miss your chance to be part of the future of ocean safety.
We’ve also got some exciting updates to share.
Firstly, we just had our biggest week of wetsuit sales to date, again, and have received or largest single order to date. Both this weeks total sales, and the size of the single order, are milestones for us and really shows how much demand for Shark Stop is growing. More divers, surfers, and ocean lovers are choosing to add some extra piece of mind and protection to their adventures, and we couldn’t be happier to see our mission gaining traction. We're just getting started.
It's not just individuals seeing value in the extra level of protection either, we're continuing produtive discussions with organisations, militaries, police, and other Government departments (both in Australia and abroad) about our product. Some have already bought sample suits, others are waiting on thicker wetsuits to be available. These types of water users all have workplace health and safety considerations to think about for their employees and volunteers, so the case for Shark Stop is even more compelling, but the sales cycle is longer.
Lastly, I recently sat down for a chat on The Scuba Goat Podcast to talk all things Shark Stop - how it started, the science behind it, and what’s next for us. If you want an inside look at what we’re building, it’s definitely worth a listen (you'll have excuse my face, I had recently had a skin cancer removed so it looked even worse than usual). I'd been on this podcast a few years earlier to talk about my documentary, so the first half is catching up about that, then we get into Shark Stop after that.

Hey all,
Exciting times here at Shark Stop with only one week left in the offer period! We already have over 100 investors and $175k+ committed. If you haven't already secured your investment, please do, we all get busy and I'd hate for you to miss out.
I spent a lot of last week in the media talking about shark bites, and how the current shark mitigation programs in QLD and NSW do not reduce the risk. I was on ABC Drive, The Project, and quoted in print stories in various large mastheads like The Courier Mail. This wasn't the time or place for plugging Shark Stop, I was there to comment as one of the handful of experts in this space, which I became through making my investigative documentary on the topic in 2021.
I'm proud to be seen as one of the go-to experts and thought leaders on this topic, just as I am proud to have helped bring the Shark Stop innovation to market, and now getting us ready for our next phase of growth.
On another positive note we've just had a very strong week of wetsuit sales, it seems some people who were served Birchal ads and came to invest bought a suit instead of, or as well as investing - so thank you! We are also about to go into mass production on our 5mm Front Zip wetsuits, having successfully completed our prototyping phase, which customers have been eagerly awaiting. This should bring a nice bump in sales and open up whole new markets.
A lot of customers have wanted a Shark Stop suit for a long time, but are from cooler climates, so our 3mm just wasn't going to work for them. We also have a 7mm in our R&D plans, and are also looking at a possible licensing deal with a brand who wants to do 10mm, which has been requested by a Government agency in the US.
