When Founder/CEO Jo Howarth looked around her food logistics business, she saw a warehouse filled with polystyrene (EPS). Dispatching EPS boxes to households all around the country every week she knew that she was part of the problem destroying our oceans
Jo was horrified to learn that of the 8 million metric tonnes of plastic that enters the ocean every year, 42% was coming from the packaging industry. Customers vocalised their contempt for EPS leading Jo on a quest to find a more sustainable solution.
That solution is WOOLPACK, an innovative, disruptive and multi award winning product made from sheep waste wool. WOOLPACK harnesses the thermal properties of wool to safely and sustainably deliver food, seafood and pharmaceuticals in perfect condition.
