Australians starting their own businesses have reached a 2 decade high in 2021, but according to ASFA currently as many as 1 in 5 self-employed people could retire with $0 superannuation. There’s a growing market to serve and the current offerings pale in comparison. That’s why we built GigSuper from the ground up, to specifically address the unique needs of the Australian self-employed community. Catch Paul Siedl, GigSuper's resident Super Guide, and one of our members, Cary Stirling from Studio Carly, on Channel 9's report on the strain on super for self-employed Aussies.

You know when you're on the right track with a new product when people in your industry ask "why do self-employed people need something different" and your customers say "Just signed up for GigSuper and I'm so excited to just have it automated! It's the only way I get money stuff done. So, it looks like I might even retire one day. Feel like a proper adult now." Our co-founder Peter Stanhope was profiled by Industry Movers this week. He talks about the origins of GigSuper and why self-employed Australians need a superannuation product that is designed specifically for them. https://industrymoves.com/q-and-a/getting-super-to-people-in-the-gig-economy
