DC Power Co aims to unlock the collective power of Australian households - starting with the 2 million homes with solar panels - to take on the big energy companies with a home renewables alternative to fossil fuels.
We’re made for solar households and we’re here supporting the home renewables revolution. Australia’s solar homes have three times the energy capacity of the country’s largest coal-fired power plant. It just needs to be unlocked.
To do this we’ll make getting a solar battery simple, putting households in control and creating a more reliable, renewable energy supply. Increasingly, Australians are getting batteries - from 25,000 installations in 2018 to a projected 800,000 by 2030.
